FAQ

What are Memecoin Alliance Packs?

Small teams that launch and grow together. Start a pack or request to join an existing one - coordinated crews beat solo launches. New packs and live coins looking for a team are both welcome.

How does joining a pack work?

Membership is free and voluntary. Request to join from the pack page (or an invite link the founder shares), accept the Membership rules, and get 3/4 approval from current members. Membership is not equity - joining does not automatically make you an owner of the Pack or coin. Your holdings are what you buy with your own wallet, plus anything the pack agrees to fund together (e.g. shared ads or airdrops).

What is the Founding Pack Grant ($100)?

The first 5 qualifying Packs can receive a $100 Founding Pack Grant after manual review — no automatic payment.

Utility first. This is a thank-you for real founding packs that use MAP — not a bounty for empty shells built only to claim cash. Low-effort or spam apps are rejected.

Required:

  • Min 6 members with complete profiles (name + role)
  • Main logo, CA, and buy link
  • Real hub story / description
  • 10 days of trading attested
  • Public activity + Telegram or Discord on the hub
  • One prize per founder team

Build the pack first, then apply from Team tools. Meeting the checklist is not financial verification or a safety rating.

What is a Project Hub? Can I upload video?

Every Pack gets a free Project Hub — a public one-page site you can share like a website (CA, buy, story, logo, team, socials). Hosting is included. Domain is covered while your pack is on MAP (not a forever free domain).

Allowed: text, images (logo / banner), links, CA, buy link, price, and chart. Not allowed: no video uploads on the Project Hub (no pack videos or autoplay clips). That keeps hubs fast and free to run for everyone. Chart links (e.g. DexScreener) for the coin are fine — those are not pack video files.

What is a Verified setup badge?

A public checklist on each Project Hub: name, description, 6+ members with names, CA, main logo (and looking-for note for existing-token packs). Optional: socials, Multisig note, 1+ week trading. It is not financial advice or a safety guarantee - only "this pack filled out its homework."

What is the Looking-for board?

A matchmaking board: packs posting who they need, and people posting skills seeking a crew. Open packs with a looking-for note also appear automatically. See Looking for. Membership still isn't coin ownership.

Can existing / live memecoins use this?

Yes - and you still own your coin. On Start a Pack, choose Existing token | looking for a team. Paste your CA and buy link, write what you need (marketing, community, art, ops), and recruit through 3/4 join votes. Your token stays yours: keys, CA authority, and treasury don't flip to the pack or this site. Think of it as your coin, their chairs - you're hiring a crew for the grind, not signing over the bag. On this path the founder runs the roster (remove anyone directly, or call a vote when they want one).

How does private pack chat work?

Every pack gets its own private chat and a unique access code. Official members (max 12) and up to 8 guests can enter (20 people max). Guests can read and send messages but cannot vote or check in. Normal messages clear after 72 hours. One pinned message can sit at the top; only official members can pin or check in (e.g. moondogs-founder #1). Changing the access code needs a 3/4 vote in 24 hours - then the old code dies immediately.

How many people can be in a pack?

Packs are 6-12 members (devs). You need at least 6 before the founder can close entry; 12 is the maximum (auto-closes when full). Members define their own roles.

How do we remove a member?

New packs: any member can start a removal vote. Window is 24 hours; needs 3/4 (75%) Yes; pass -> removed immediately.

Existing-token packs: the founder can remove anyone directly, or call a 3/4 vote if they want the crew on the record. Only the founder can open that vote - so a live coin's owner isn't stuck with a mutiny rule while recruiting help. Personal wallets stay personal either way.

Can a member leave without a vote?

Yes. Non-founder members can leave anytime from the pack page (no vote). Telegram / Discord / X you own stay under those accounts — hand channels off if you were admin. This site does not control off-platform chats.

What if the founder changes their mind before anyone joins?

Solo founder can Close pack (type the pack name to confirm). That removes the listing. If others already joined, use a disband vote instead.

How do we disband / delete a whole pack?

Solo founder: use Close pack. With a team: any member can start a disband vote and must type the exact pack name. Needs 3/4 (75%) Yes within 24 hours. If it passes, the pack is removed from this site's list only. Wallets and coins are not controlled by the platform.

Who controls the CA / the coin?

This site never holds keys or funds.

Existing token: the deployer still controls the CA. A pack is the team layer — membership is not ownership of the coin.

New pack / new coin: form the team first, then launch when ready. Highly advised: Multisig so no single wallet alone controls the project. Founders can label Keys on the hub (Multisig, founder wallet, or team deciding) — founder-stated, not audited here. Always verify the CA yourself.

Should we use Multisig for pack funds?

Yes — highly advised, especially if you are starting a new coin as a team. Multisig means moves need more than one signature so one person can’t walk with full control. Also use Multisig for any shared treasury or pooled funds. The platform does not hold your money. See where to find Multisig tools (Squads on Solana, Safe on Ethereum/Base/BNB, and docs).

Where can we set up a Multisig?

Use a Multisig that matches your pack's chain: Solana -> Squads (and Squads docs); Ethereum / Base / BNB and other EVM -> Safe (overview at safe.global). Full list with short notes: Multisig help section. Always verify you are on the real site.

Does Memecoin Alliance Packs have a token?

No. Right now the focus is the platform — packs, free Project Hubs, and tools for teams. There is no official token to buy or claim on this site.

If the platform does well, a token may be introduced in the future and shared via X (@MemecoinPacks). Until then, treat any random lookalike ticker as unofficial.

Is this financial advice?

No. Memecoin Alliance Packs only provides a platform for creators to form teams and organize Packs. We are not responsible for Pack decisions, disputes, coin outcomes, member actions, or financial losses. Each Pack operates independently. Use the platform at your own risk. See the full platform disclaimer.
